Reproduce the problem briefly

Use a short test instead of regenerating the whole document. A useful test case here is: A short scene with dialogue and a descriptive paragraph. Keep a copy of the original so every edit is reversible. Note what you expected to hear and what you actually heard.

The starting pointReading a story aloud is a useful way to hear pacing, rhythm, and repeated sentence shapes.

Check the source first

  1. 01

    Inspect the input

Choose one scene rather than the whole manuscript. Compare the affected passage against the original document.

  2. 02

    Change one thing

Preview dialogue with a consistent speaker. Keep the rest of your settings unchanged so this is a fair test.

  3. 03

    Listen again

Adjust punctuation in the source to match your intended phrasing. Use the same sentence to decide whether the change improved the result.

Separate the symptoms

A single selected voice reads the note. VoxNote does not automatically assign actors to each character.

Retest before replacing a recording

When the short test works, apply only the successful change to the longer note. If it still fails, write down the file type, the selected voice, and the exact step where the problem occurs. Those details make a support request more useful.

A short scene with dialogue and a descriptive paragraph. Keep that example as a quick reference for your next session, and revisit the original whenever exact detail matters.
