Reproduce the problem briefly

Use a short test instead of regenerating the whole document. A useful test case here is: A resource list that names each source before its address. Keep a copy of the original so every edit is reversible. Note what you expected to hear and what you actually heard.

The starting pointA full URL is useful on a page, but it rarely makes a useful spoken sentence.

Check the source first

  1. 01

    Inspect the input

Keep clickable source links in the original. Compare the affected passage against the original document.

  2. 02

    Change one thing

Replace long addresses in the listening copy with descriptive names. Keep the rest of your settings unchanged so this is a fair test.

  3. 03

    Listen again

Read a short domain only when its spelling matters. Use the same sentence to decide whether the change improved the result.

Separate the symptoms

A spoken link is not a clickable destination. Do not rely on the audio alone to preserve a complicated address.

Retest before replacing a recording

When the short test works, apply only the successful change to the longer note. If it still fails, write down the file type, the selected voice, and the exact step where the problem occurs. Those details make a support request more useful.
